WAKU, by Polyverse · Last updated: September 3, 2026

Who We Are

WAKU is operated by Polyverse Entertainment Inc. ("Polyverse", "we", "us", or "our"), a company based at 200 Continental Drive, Suite 401, Newark, DE 19713, USA. This Privacy Policy describes what personal information we handle when you use the WAKU mobile application and the services we provide through it (together, the "App"), and how we protect that information. Questions about this policy can be sent to waku-support@global.polyversestudio.com.

What We Collect

Sign-In Information

WAKU lets you sign in with a third-party identity provider such as Apple or Google. When you do, we receive a unique identifier for your account, along with any profile information your provider chooses to share based on your settings with them.

What You Create and Share

WAKU is a creative tool. As you use it, we collect the things you generate or contribute, including the prompts and instructions you give the AI, any follow-up edits, the comments and reactions you leave, and any images, video clips, or audio recordings that pass through the App as part of your creative work.

AI Creations

When you use WAKU's AI features, we process the prompts you provide in order to generate the result you asked for. The outputs — whether that's structured code, design assets, or any other generated material — may be kept on our systems so you can come back to edit them, share them with others, and so we can continue improving the App over time.

Support Conversations

When you reach out to our team for help, to ask a question, or to send feedback, we keep a record of what you tell us so we can respond and improve the App.

Information Collected Automatically

As you use the App, our systems automatically log certain technical and usage information, including:

Session Records and Content Snapshots

How We Use This Information

We use the information described above to:

When We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in the situations described below.

About Your Creations

You own what you make in WAKU. When you publish a creation, it becomes visible to the wider WAKU community, and you grant us the license described in our Terms of Service to operate the platform on which it appears.

Other users may be able to view your published creations, share them, or build on them through our remixing tools. When someone remixes your work, you'll receive credit as the original creator.

We may remove content that violates our Terms of Service. To do this, we use a combination of automated systems and human reviewers.

Keeping Your Information Safe

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. That said, no system that transmits or stores information over the internet can be made perfectly secure, and we can't promise absolute security.

A note of caution: please don't use WAKU to store highly sensitive personal information — things like medical records, financial credentials, government identifiers, or other strictly confidential material. Bear in mind that anything you choose to publish will be visible to others, and that authorized Polyverse personnel may have access to content stored in the App — including private content — where necessary to operate or troubleshoot the service.

Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights with respect to your personal information:

To exercise any of these, contact us using the details at the bottom of this policy.

You can also:

Children

WAKU is not designed or intended for children under 13 (or the higher minimum age that applies in your country). We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we've collected information from a child without verifiable parental consent, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please let us know at waku-support@global.polyversestudio.com.

Third-Party AI Models

WAKU uses AI models provided by third parties to generate content from your prompts and to power various App features. What those providers can do with the data we send them is governed by our contracts with each of them; in general, the data is used to deliver the requested output and to support the operation of the feature.

Where Your Information Is Stored

WAKU's servers are primarily located in the United States, and most data is processed there. If you're using the App from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or in other countries where our service providers operate. By using WAKU, you agree to this transfer.

Users Outside the United States

If you live outside the United States, the data protection laws of your country may also apply to your information. We've designed this Privacy Policy with major privacy frameworks in mind. If you believe your local law gives you rights beyond what's described here, please reach out and let us know.

Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy over time. When we do, we'll change the "Last Updated" date at the top of the page, and — where the change is significant — we'll also notify you through the App or by email.

Storage and Retention of Session Data

Interaction and gameplay session data, replayable session records, and content screen snapshots are encrypted while in transit to us and are held in private storage that is not published or made browsable to other users. These records are moved to colder long-term storage after 90 days and are deleted no later than 12 months after they are collected, except where a longer period is required by law.

Retention and Deletion

When you delete content in WAKU (a creation you made, a comment you left, or anything else you contributed), it disappears from public view right away and is no longer accessible to other users. Copies may remain in our backup systems for a limited period to help us comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, maintain platform security, and investigate misconduct.

We keep personal information for as long as it's needed for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer period is allowed or required by law. Once the relevant retention period ends, the information is permanently deleted from our systems.
